Calie & Ryan {Engagements}

I love doing engagement shoots.  They are just so fun!  And this one was no exception.  Calie, Ryan, and I ventured up to Sundance for these photos and found a great little spot near an unused cabin.  And what a gorgeous area!  And they were such good sports even though it was FREEZING!  We were trudging through snow that came up to our knees, but it was so fun.  :)

I thought this was such a cute sign that Calie brought.  What a cute idea!

And I just LOVE the look on Ryan's face in this one.

My First Collage {Engagements}

So I'm currently taking a Photoshop class with Mike Loveland through Nicole's classes, and I am loving it!  My most recent assignment was to create some kind of collage, so I decided to take photos from a recent shoot and see what I could do.  Here's what I came up with!

Chrystalyn & Michael {Engagements}

I seriously cannot believe how photogenic these two are.  Getting good pictures of this couple was as easy as pie!  Chrystalyn, Michael, and I went tromping all over and had an awesome session.  Bonus: bunches and bunches of great pics.  Congratulations on your engagement, you two!

Color: Blue {DPS Assignment}

OK, so I know it's been a while since I've posted anything for the DPS challenges or assignments, but I'd really like to get back into them!  My schedule has really been full and I just haven't had much time to dedicate to the DPS stuff.  But here goes another try.  This week's assignment was simply to capture the color blue.  I was down in the Riverwoods last week and saw these awesome decorative blue rocks and thought, "There's my blue!"
